On my 2014 SLT heated and cooled seats the dealer replaced the seat drivers side track at around 10,000 miles in the process they messed up the heated seat. Then I went through a couple of heat pad replacements and finally a cover replacement where they screwed it up taking if off and on so many times. When I traded a few months ago at 61,000 (out of warranty) the seat had started moving again and the heat would work on the seat again. If I had a Do Over I would have simply done the fix myself with the clamps. live and learn

my 2016 truck has the movement as well. The tech said it is the seat cushion sliding on the seat pan. He said it is almost setup like a suspension seat, he is waiting on the GM TAC line to tell him how to proceed since supposedly the 2016 trucks had the re-designed seat pan to correct this.
