2014 Sierra HID and LED

I'm looking to upgrade my lights and am thinking HiD for the headlights and led for the fogs. What's everyone running? I see LED is gaining popularity but I see dispersion issues. Any info would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

  Excuse my stupidity, I have a 2016 High Country with 6.5’ bed. I want to pick up 1/2 CD wood which might be 1000-1500lb. Can the truck handle that?
