BG Induction Service

Has anyone here had the BG Induction service performed on their DI 4.3,5.3, or 6.2 and did it make a difference? Increase in power, better mileage, throttle response, smoothed out idle etc...?

i don't believe in that service.... I run a catch can instead to catch all of the crap before it even gets to the valves.

RT

I am skeptical as well and i have been running a catch can since 5,000 miles (25,000) now. I have developed a rough idle that has progressively gotten worse over the last few months and am debating if i want to do this service to see if it will help

Just looking for others' experiences with the service

Yes, smoothed out the idle. Was getting a little jumpy at times.

I just did plugs and wires too, and she's back to new.

Plugs looked good at 31k, I only did them since I was putting new wires and boots on.

Thanks! Stock wires cleared the headers just fine, but not having boots on them worried me a little.

So, I ordered boots. Then, ordered wires since I'd be doing boots. Then ordered plugs since I'll be doing wires, lol.

When in Rome, right.

I have never done the BG induction service on my truck. However, every once in a while I run Techron complete fuel system cleaner. Looking at MSDS sheets, it's the same exact product that AC Delco, Motorcraft, and Mopar use as they're in tank fuel system cleaner, but half the cost before it goes on sale. Plus one on the oil catch can, it's amazing how much it collects especially during the winter months. At the local dealership that I use to work at, many of the technicians swore by how well the BG induction service worked. Especially how it solved problematic issues. Needless to say they got a stipend from BG every time they do one, so take the advice for what it is.
