Installing 2" Leveling Kit; a few questions

['17 Sierra]

I'm installing the RC 2" front leveling kit this weekend and I'm curious if anyone has had any issues with "Lane Assist" or Parking Assist after installing a leveling kit. Any other things I might want to know? '17 Sierra 4X4.

No issues for me with either thing. I have 2" in front and 1" in back going on 2 years now.

Shouldn't lane assist uses your sonar detectors. The less than 1* difference thAt the lift will change what they see.. negligible

I think lane assist also has something to do with your windshield. I have put in 2 new windshields and each time they asked me if I had lane assist feature.

That would be for the collision avoidance feature because it flashes lights on your windshield to alert you. The windshield needs to be the type that reflects light just like with a head up display.

Right here it says camera for lane assist is located in front of rear view mirror in windshield.

Thanks. My guess is that it wouldn't be affected by leveling the truck then.

No effects to the park system. The collision avoidance is a camera above your rear view mirror.

 

My upper control arms hit the bump stops at full decompression, with the left being affected more than the right for some odd reason. Only noticeable if your driving on dirt or extremely rough paved roads. And be prepared to wear out your ball joints faster than without the level installed

No issues for me with anything after a 2" front level.
