Tire Selection Help

I've scoured different threads looking at options but decided to start a new thread specific to my scenario as most threads have different wheel sizes and level kits.

I have a 2014 AT CC with 20" wheels. I have the stock GY SRA tires with about 35k on them. Currently shopping for replacements and have some questions.

Mostly on road use but a fair amount of snow driving. I tow very little but have a 18' boat and a two place clamshell snowmobile trailer but each only used a few times a year for short towing.

Looking at GY Duratracs or BFG KO2 both in stock 275/55/20 or 275/60/20 size. I put about 12k a year on the truck and want more aggressive tire that doesn't completely change the current characteristics. The BFG are only available in LT range D and the duratracs are p metric.

My concerns are ride quality, mpg loss and noise specific to each due to tread pattern and weight. Anything is better than the stock tires but I have become accustomed to good mpg and low noise. I am not really interested in a level kit, do not want new wheels (or smaller diameter) so hoping to get some responses and pics from people with stock setups that have both tires in both sizes I mentioned. Eventually in the next couple years i will probably replace shocks with bilsteins but not looking to do all at once.

Hoping to see pics of both in 20" size and get feedback from people that may have had both tires on the same truck to get feedback. I am not hung up on a slight mpg reduction but more the harshness associated with a load range d tire or noise of a borderline MT tire. I have pretty much narrowed it down to these 2 options based on traction, look and quality.

My father has stock size ko2s on 20" on his 2008 f150. Good tire, plenty of grip and the treadwear is going on his 3rd-4th year. He claims they are a little noisey, but those old fords have the noise proofing quality of a wet sock. I like them on the few occasions I drive his truck. Light years better than the oem pirelli scorpions or the dueler revo 2s he also ran.

Whatever you buy get the LT for peace of mind.

Take a look at Cooper AT3's. They come in LT and ride very good and are very quiet.

If snow is a consideration, IMO there are better choices than those 2.

If you're worried about ride quality, MPG loss, and road noise...then I don't think you'd be happy with Duratracs. The new BFG KO2's would be good, but I would also consider Cooper Discoverer AT3's. They're quiet and do very well in the snow. I put 50k miles on a set, and was very happy with them. I'm also very pleased with my new Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. They're quieter than my recent Toyo AT2's, they have a 55k mile warranty, and have the 3 peak severe snow rating.

I have 2017 LT All star edtion with oem Continental 275/55/r20s have 2,900 miles on them and the tires absolutely suck in the snow. Any suggestions on a good set of all terrian, all season tires bfgs are not in the mix had them before not a personal choice. Toyo Open Country A2's, Cooper AT3 or the Nitto Terra Grapllers are options. If anyone can help much appreciated.
