As the title says I want LED DRL'S in my 2015 Sierra. I'm considering buying these.

They require opening the factory light to install these. Has anyone done this? Also at the bottom of that link it has the installation instructions and show how to remove the factory LEDS and drivers. If I had factory LEDS I wouldn't need this kit. Do they factory lights have led drivers even though it doesn't have leds?

That kit looks like it turns the led drls in the 14-15 SLT/Denali into turn signals as well.

Sounds like you have a base/SLE and want the SLT/Denali lights?

I may be interested in selling my 15 SLT headlamps once I install my 16-17 ones. I think they would be able swapped without any modifications.

Can you post pics of your headlights with the leds? I didn't know any 2015s had leds. That clears up alot of confusion for me. In the installation video it shows they remove the factory LEDS and replace them with the ones supplied in the kit. My question is will this kit work for trucks that have no LEDS at all? Also how much would you want for your old lights and how can we confirm they will work in my truck. You are correct I have a non led SLE.

There is a module that mounts on the back of the headlight assembly that controls the LED lights on top and bottom. Otherwise as far as I know, the headlights themselves should be interchangeable. I also have a set of SLT/Denali headlights with the LEDs that I removed that I could sell if interested, but I'd let the first poster go first. I bought an extra set when I did my HID retrofit and put those in. Haven't had any issues with them in two years, so no reason to keep the others now.

Any way to confirm whether they will work in my SLE or not? According to this post there is a harness that is needed and a BCM program by GM. How much would you want for the headlights with the LEDS? Would you be willing to let me return them if they didn't work in my truck?

Forgot to post the link to the thread that says it won't work.

We could probably compare the connectors on the back of the lights. I would assume add long as mine match up to what you have it should work. After all, if the module is mounted on the back of the light assembly that should control the LEDS.

Well I guess if there's any way you could pop one of the headlights out (grille, along with top bumper trim has to come off first I believe) and take a look at the electrical connector and count the pins that it has, we should be able to figure out if it will work. Based on that other post you linked, it leads me to believe that your harness may have one or two less wires going to it. Probably to control the leds/drls. If that's the case, it may be complicated to add the SLT/Denali headlamps to your truck.

As for price, I'm not sure yet. I'm still waiting on my other new one to come before I even take them out.

Here is off (looks a little better than the sle ones with nothing in those spots):

It doesn't look like I have any pics of just the drls on, but I'll try to take a pic of that today.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it's doable with that harness. A bit pricey. I guess it will depend on how much you guys want for your SLT lights. PM me your asking price. If it's reasonable I'll give that route as opposed to the diode dynamic aftermarket setup. Not sure how I feel opening up my factory lights. Let me know prices guys. Thanks.

I won't jump over these guys that have some for sale. You can probably make your own harness, I'm sure its been done by someone on here. It would be a lot cheaper, trust me. I bought one from gen5 for a lot more than you can buy a home made one lol.

I did the Diode switchback setup but you do need the OEM headlights with LED DRL's. Doesn't require a harness but you can use one if you want the LED's to behave like OEM. I didn't do the harness.
