2016 GMC OEM LED tails installed on 2015

Just as the title states. I installed 2016 LED tails on my 2015. I used the Gen 5 DIY harness but there is a better solution out there from a fellow member here. If you have completed the swap on your GMC post it up!

Where did you get the 2016 taillights? I still think ebay prices are a little high. The Yukon oem LED taillights can be found around 500 or less a pair but the pickups are around 1000

For a while there was an ebay seller selling these tails for roughly $650 a set.

The 2016 taillights are a direct replacement for 2014-15 Sierras? I've been looking for LED taillights but haven't pulled the trigger on any aftermarket lights as of yet

They fit, but need an inline resistor to help the hyperflashing.

Those tail lights and the 2016 head lights look great but I just can't bring myself to spend $1000 for each set with the respective harnesses. They do look sharp though.....

 

I'll just have to keep an eye out on eBay and junk yards
