Looking to buy a 2017 Silverado LTZ Mid-night Edition

I'm thinking on trade my 2014 GMC Sierra SLE All Terrain Double Cab, for a 2017 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ - Z71 Midnight Edition. I think I can get a good money for my Sierra since only has 22,500 miles. I think I can get a good deal on the Silverado. What you guys think I should wait for the new 2019 model. I'm happy with my truck but I like the new Silverado and the extra room.

Get a 2016 6.2L LTZ Midnight Edition and tune it w/ BBP.

Tuning costs more in the 2017 and you have the capless gas tanks in them - both items I didn't prefer.

i just bought the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab SLT with the 6.2l and 8 speed. The cost was $45k which was the same as the truck you're looking at that I drove. I'm WAY happier with this guy. Firstly the 6.2 is no toy but it's overall classier and rides much better. The black Silverado had a horrible ride. Partly from tires but had a very stiff suspension I felt like. Don't get me wrong I'd be very happy to have gotten it but when I saw the GMC for the same price it was a no brained. So much classier and the 6.2 drives that 8 speed like it should.

too state the obvious, your current truck is worth more now that 2 plus years from now. the other factor is your truck will be considered 3 model years older also. if you need the room, pull the trigger and get the 17 with a 6.2, very fun engine.
