Not specifically. I asked what burns up a clutch. They said "heat".

Heat..how hot did it get? Mine runs around 190-200f.

Don't know. I often put it on Trans Temp when pulling a trailer and mostly 190ish as well. Never over 200 that I recall. Wonder if they could find that in the computer m

Personally, I'd be ecstatic if I get 112K out of a transmission built nowadays. Lots of parts in them, and lots of work done to keep the costs down on them.

 

I know that really doesn't help you, but I think 112K is a good run on a tranny, especially one used for some towing.

Lol. Now that's thinking outside the box!

 

Outta five rigs in my life, only two have needed a trans. A 2005 Silverado and a 2014 Silverado.
