Odor from catch can

I recently installed a elite e2 can, a couple of days later when sitting in traffic im noticing a can smell. Has this happened to anyone, all connections seem tight. Any help would be appreciated

It's the tube it comes.with. you Need.ro get a different kind. I'm not sure what it's called though

By "tube", do you mean the hose that is supplied by Elite???

 

My "basic" Elite CC has performed perfectly....................without hose collapsing like has been posted here before.

Yes sorry. The hose. Dude I bought mine from had gas smell. Changed the hose and no more. I have no smell
