Edit: Did some googling and it looks like that's moogs new style. Guess my question is answered.

I would go back to whomever installed them and kindly request the boots be installed. Be kind and patient with shops...guy probably was having a rough day.

Yea you can see the boot is really small and pretty far into the joint itself now.
