Anti flicker -led?

Recommended Posts

Bought morimoto leds and got the anti flicker adapter. Sometimes when I turn my lights on they dont come on. I have to turn the light switch back and forth a couple 10 times. Do I need to install the antiflicker pieces?

You got the anti flicker installed and you want to install another anti flicker? Your lights have to flicker before you can anti them lol, check your relay harness if you installed one, check your actual relay , might be bad. this is why i stopped messing with HID's, relays or wiring goes bad or just doesn't work, happens to the most expensive to the least of HID kits.

No, I haven't installed the antiflicker because of space issues in the headlight area... I'm asking is what I'm experiencing (lights come on for a minute then shutoff) a "flicker"?

it could very well be flickering, the kind of flickering i've seen was more rapid on and off continuously.

Usually the flickering I've seen is almost like a strobe light effect. I have just LED bulbs and the anti-flicker adapter was able to fit behind the dust cap for the low beams. The high beams were a different story though and would not fit, so I didn't have them installed. Haven't had an issue with the high beams from what I could tell, but I also don't use them that often.

Do you have the morimoto? I wonder what's going on with mine...

Sorry, I don't. I have "Enthuze" LED bulbs. Can you try and hook up the anti flicker adapter and see if that fixes it? I realize you said it won't fit behind the dust cap but may be work trying? If that fixes it you have your solution.

I will. But I would have to figure something out for that cover. I don't want water aND stuff to get in there.

Does anyone know a way to have LED headlight bulbs work in the 2015 Sierra, tried three different styles with the "anti flicker" device, still do not work.  What the heck did GM do to cause this  problem!!

I have LEDs in mine and they don’t flicker at all. I also have projectors though. I’m going to change out the LEDS for HIDS tomorrow for better light output and pattern. The LEDS in the projectors scatter the light too much and make it hard to see anything at night without the fogs on.
