where does this part go?

I was looking at my engine today and noticed this piece was laying on the left side of the battery hoping somebody could help my truck is a 2016 Silverado with a 5.3l motor thanks again

Almost looks like a plastic insulator for the bottom of the battery tray to reduce NVH?

never thought of that will have to check tomorrow se if something is missing under battery maybe thanks

Lol. I found one of those and couldn't figure it out. Last weekend changing my oil I found another. I believe they go up in the cowl area behind the hinges.

Its a debris/drip plug that fits on the ends of the front windshield cowling under the fenders.

 

Ive got a few strips of silver tape over them to help keep them closed off to little critters but still allows them to drain.
