Only thing it won't stop is a bigger dog that wants to look out the window and jumps on the side. Works well for our little dogs though.

I have a cover made by weathertech for mine and its fits perfect. Its a semi custom and its designed to fit a modern crew cab full size. I have other covers in the past and none fit as well as this one has. Its held up great too.

I have been using moving blankets for the past few trucks and 10 years. I had a vision of what I wanted to build for the dogs. My lab is now crippled and can't get up if I hard brake and she slides off the seat. So, a week or two ago, I built a plywood platform that sets on the floor with the seat folded up. It goes further forward, providing more space for the two dogs and no place to fall down into. I put a 3" foam pad on it and tossed a moving blanket over it for our trip a week ago. As a bonus, it has storage underneath. I made it in a few hours. Will start another thread with pics tomorrow.
