Any one have blown shocks at 25000. Truck wasn't feeling right going down the road, felt like I had to catch the steering on dips. Got a deal on Bilstein 5100's so I bought and installed, rancho shocks never rebounded after being compressed.

Did you do the bump test? A good shock will bounce once or twice before settling back down; a bad shock will bounce five to six times before it settles back down.

No didn't do the test, much better ride with the Bilsteins though. . Just was not getting the response back on the road and was chasing the wheel so to speak.

Only gas shocks rebound after compressed.

No rebound at all for non gas shocks as the rears had one that would come out slow and one not at all, front was the same way.
