New to the forums here, just purchased my first truck about two weeks ago. I ordered some CK159 wheels and got them mounted on 285/45R22 tires today. The front tints were done to match the rear of the truck when I bought it. I also swapped out the headlights and fog lights today with LED bulbs. I'm having an issue where the headlights will shut off by themselves, so I'm going to have to figure that out. In the meantime, enjoy the photos.

Welcome to the forum Tom. I installed VLED headlights in my truck about a month ago and had the same problem. I had to order a capacitor from them in order for the lights to stay on. Hope that helps with your problem

Thanks for the reply. My only concern is the figment of something else within the housing. It was a pretty tight fit to fit the bulb and inline flasher behind the dust cover as is

What's the brand of LEDs you went with? They should offer a capacitor for them and you will need that most likely.

I got them from one of my suppliers (I import auto lights for a living). I didn't end up getting the resistors because I found a thread on here about led headlights and everyone was saying they didn't need anything other than the bulb.

My manufacturer offers three different types of resistors (attached pic). From the description, I guess I need the second type. post-171520-149315004391_thumb.jpg

love the wheels, I have been looking for a set

Thanks man, I'm loving them so far. Ride quality is just about the same as my stock 17" wheels were.

I ordered the resistors for the led headlights last night, should arrive Friday. I'm looking forward to everything working the way it should

What LED fog light bulbs did you go with?

It's a 6500k G7 LED bulb. From the same factory as other popular G7 LED bulbs I've seen on this forum
