AVS Bug Shield or Aeroskins

I got the Weathertech low profile. Was really just looking to protect the leading edge of my hood from rocks. Looks great and easy drill free install. Only had it on for 4 months so no idea on longevity

I installed the AVS Bug Deflector on my 2016 Silverado 2500 HD. It looks great and was easy to install.

I also installed the AVS In-Channel Ventvisors at the same time.

While I have only had them installed for a couple of months, all seem to be performing well.

The only reservation I have about the aeroskin is it hugs the hood and when dirt/debris gets behind it what will that debris do to the paint? I installed the bug shield because I can clean behind it and it may help save the windshield from excessive bug deposits.

Actually Sandman, I was reading your post from a while back and the deflector that you put on your truck got me looking at the AVS site that is where I found the aeroskins, I have a silver ice metallic 2017 2500HD and I think the chrome bug deflector you chose would look good. Decision made going with the bug deflector in chrome. thanks
