2017 f250 appears to be a joke

Really the only thing I like about the Fords is the solid front axle. And that they can fit 37x13.5" tires without touching the suspension. The trucks appear much bigger than our GM's but that's because the Ford has flat floors and they try to out macho GM and Dodge too.

One of my best friends has 295's on his 16' super duty and that is about it. 37's is not happening on stock suspension.

The truck my lawn guy has is the '17 f250 Lariat. Four full doors and long bed. He had 37"x13.5" general grabbers on stock 20" wheels. He said he didn't touch the suspension.

You just need a leveling kit and 37's clear

Yep, you need a 2" level at minimum and I have heard of rubbing issues. Realistically, a 3.5" lift....like I said, not stock suspension.

'17 Super Duty fits 37's bone stock FACT.

I'm sure they have TONS of articulation and steering lock left with 37s on there too :jester:

Just because you can roll down the road with 37" tires doesn't mean they fit. Now go flex out the suspension and eat the fenders up. Well played.

Well I would love to waste some more time arguing about a Ford on a GM site, but I have more important stuff to do like nothing.

I could care less what a lift company has to say, I have seen 4 '17 Super Dutys on 37's, only one was leveled and that was two weeks after getting the tires installed, leveling does nothing as the tires rub on the frame/control arm and no lift is going to fix that as you simply have to get a offset wheel to move the tire out. I could care less if the tire lightly rubs the frame or control arm, hurts nothing and how often and how long to you have the wheel cranked all the way?

Why would anyone want to put tires that big on a truck that is designed to tow a certain way?

I see it here frequently. It tends to steal all the power and then they compensate with making their trucks roll coal... And all the while I pull away clean as a whistle.

I guess if you use trucks as they are designed you tend not to stray too much from the original design.

And whether it fits or not is completely irrelevant it's still overweight with lower payload than the equivalent GM truck.

I wonder if they argue about what tires fit on the GM trucks over on the Ford forums. I honestly don't care for the look of the Ford trucks whatsoever. It doesn't matter what tires fit...it's still a Ford. :)

Ford still hasn't fixed their rear end sag issues either so that definitely correlates to the lower haul rating.

Is the tranny issues they were having on the '17s fixed yet?

Lol. Cool story bro! Yeah, I don't listen to those stupid lift manufactures that do all R&D to produce a product. I just make my own (well, actually that part is true). Your comments show just how knowledgeable you are on the topic.

Same thing with Jeeps. Friend decided he wanted 35's with a lot of poke...had to do some serious fender cutting for those power robbing tires. Now he's looking to do a re-gear.

I posted a video for proof for you douche bags, what more do you want, you guys come on here talking shit, I back it up and show facts and you guys still are not happy.

Cognito says you cannot run 35's with their leveling kit and everyone is running 35's WITHOUT their leveling kit, think they want to sell product???

Lift manufacturers are not making a lot of money these days when simply cranking the bars or installing $80 coil spacers will allow for 35's-37's, big lifted trucks are over, everyone is leveled and stuffed these days.

Don't cry ladies...
