Topic name meant to say CSS not CCS. Anyone on here have an Elite Engineering Clean Side Separator that can tell me how the fit is? I've seen a few people say they fit like garbage and I don't want to get one if it doesnt fit to well.

Fits great. The actual connector replaces/screws into the engine oil cap.

The CSS has 2 rubber grommets that keep it sealed and slide into the connector. Make sure your hoses are tight once you install though.

I have one, looked it over... didn't use it, the newer GM DI engines have a type of foul air separator/baffle/CSS built into the valve covers. I do want to see someone take a valve cover apart. However I am very happy with my Elite Ultra CC so far I don't have oil from my valve cover to air box tubes... yet . By all means use the CSS if you want. If someone can prove the new baffles don't work then I look into adding a 2nd can.

What about the hose used for the catch can. I just have the standard can and I have the hiss. I'm wanting to get thicker walled hose becase im 98% sure that at wot the 50 psi hose collapses but don't know what to get. What does everyone use that does change the hose? I also have ordered a replacement oem pcv tube to use the oem fittings.

Hiss? vacuum leak?

I used AN line and fittings, I did order and cut up my stock PCV tube to use the fittings the tube was like $15.00.

I need to see how you ran your lines, btw a check valve is not needed for NA motors leave them out they do sometimes whistle if they are bad.

Can't get any pics right now I'm at work. I've checked everything and can't find a leak. I do have the check valve in and honesty I feel like a majority of the hiss comes from it. I still want stronger hose. What is that you used on the hose in the third picture?

Happen to remember what size and brand the line is? I really like how clean that looks.

# 8 AN line, got if from Jegs

Thank you! I'm not real sure on AN line sizes so could you help me out? I do have the CSS ordered as well as new clean side pcv tubes to use the fittings. What size an lines would I need for that? I believe the line that connects both valve covers will be 5/8.

I did not connect the CSS not sure on the AN hose size. If I had to bet its smaller for sure with the CSS barb. Like I said I ordered a CSS now it sits in a box.

^ best I can do. (however if its AN hose, match it to the fitting) the "Metal tube OD" means OD of the hose, rubber hose that came with the kit.

I used this (do your homework on how to cut AN hose) http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/110922/10002/-1

lastly, I did option for the larger 1/2 or 8 AN fittings at the CatchCan (PIC 4), so if you got the standard size its most likely #6ish, not really sure its been over a year since I did this install.
