Thoughts?

I have a '17 Denali CCSB w/ a 6.2 and recently had a BDS 6" lift installed w/ 22's and 35x12.5. The issue I'm having is there is some substantial vibration in the truck now once I hit around 55. The vibration is not in the steering wheel so I don't think it's a balancing issue. It's like the whole truck is shaking. However, if I'm going over 55 and I start going around a corner it stops. I've talked to the guys that installed my lift and they can't figure out what it is. Any suggestions on what this is could be is much appreciated.

I had a "slight" shimmy on the passenger side. The documented vibration issue I presume. So maybe the lift has amplified that greatly.

You could have a bent rim. Check the balance as it's pretty simple to rule that out. Check your tires for feathering or abnormal wear. If your alignment was off before the lift and subsequent new alignment, then the abnormal tire wear that existed could be causing vibration now.

But wouldn't a bad balance or bent rim make the steering wheel shake? The truck is shaking, not the steering wheel. That's the confusing part.

Not necessarily. If it's a rear wheel then the steering wheel wouldn't shake. And the electric power steering is more isolated than old hydraulic steering columns, so even a front wheel wouldn't feel as significant as it used to.

I am also thinking driveline. Had a lowered 2wd that was not at the right degree/angle that was terrible at freeway speeds. Had shims put in to correct/back to factory specs, was smooth as stock afterwards.

I'm running this lift on my truck and it does not do what you're describing. Have them check the balance and alignment on the truck. They should have done that with install. I recall someone else on this form having a vibration issue after their lift and the alignment fixed it. I would also expect the steering wheel to shake when the alignment is off just based on my experience with other vehicles.
