Meh - I don't believe it. It would have been caught sooner by people needing annual emissions testing... no way it goes 6 years without anyone noticing.

So the same group of lawyers that sued VW are now after GM. Next month they will file suit against Ford claiming that they also cheated. Blood sucking lawyers are going to cost all of us money in the end.

Can't imagine them cheating. Most people learn very early in life that if there's more than one person involved secrets aren't kept. Many people would have to be involved in this, the whistle blower money whould be enormous.

yeah, the lawyers, both government and private, just go from one OEM to the next. All in an effort to fatten their wallets and put hardship on everyone else. In the end, it is anyone who buys a vehicle that pays for it all.

For that one reason alone, yeah, it does cause one to consider getting a diesel pickup out of spite for this nonsense.

Well, cheating is a bit strong as it pertains to the various OEM's. And in the current brouhaha over GM, yet to be proven. And the so-called "cheating" is really straining at gnats. Decimal point type violations. And yet, engines still environmentally cleaner than anything that preceded them.
