De-badged tailgate

If you remove the chevy emblem, is there holes or an indent?

I'm picking up my first "new" (2015 midnight edition,Z71) truck with 12k on it this week.

Congratulations on your new truck! I would recommend enjoying your new truck the way it is for a few weeks before making changes. Once you own a certain vehicle, it is surprising how many similar versions appear! You may get some different ideas! I added a badge to my truck's tailgate shortly after purchase. (I originally wanted to add the bright and colorful '60's type badges to the front fenders but the fit was awkward.)

I need to debadge my truck, every time I have the chance too. I'm really busy or it rains one.
Gonna take off the Silverado emblems off on the sides and debadge the tailgate too, guess I'll debadge the LTZ emblem too.

Thanks man. Funny you say enjoy as is for awhile.... I had already pre-ordered a cat-back exhaust and cold air intake,lol. I drove straight from the dealer to my garage to install it all. I owned it all of about 7 minutes.... hahahaha

 

But you're correct, now i see one around and i thought I'd have the only one... It's all good they stand out from all the base models.

i personally wouldve left something on the side chrome-whether that be the door moulding or badge. matched pretty well with the chrome wheels as it sat prior imo.
