14-15 led headlight bulbs

Hello, looked through the search but didn't find what I was looking for.

So I bought a set of DDM 40w led bulbs for my 2016 2500 and they don't fit behind the dust cap, so I'm going to return them and get high beams for my 2015 1500. My big question would be are they going to fit?

If they don't what would be another option to get for high beams on a '15 1500?

Thanks.

VLEDs has a new bulb coming out that fits behind dust caps. The fans are offset. They have a specific H11 low for Silverados 2014+up and then also 9005 bulbs for high beams. If it has a fan right on the back, its not going to fit without modifying the caps. Morimoto has extender boots to solve that if you go with them. I've had no issue in the past putting the Xenon Depot stuff in a Silverado headlight. All of it fit behind the dust cap. XD uses a flexible ribbon heat sink.

I got the same style of lights from DDM and i modified the cap, all i did was drill a small home in the cao so that the wiring could fit through then i put a rubber gasket on both sides of the cap. I have not had any problems with the lights and im very impressed on how realiable and bright they are. I also have DDM led lights for my fogs.
