Aftermarket Sub

So I'm thinking of adding a single '12 Sub to my Stock Bose system in my '16 Sierra. I am having it installed as i do not have the time for it unfortunately. Those who have gone this route, what is typically required for this other then sub,amp,wire,box?

 

I don't want to try to be sold crap i dont need

that's about it. just need to be able to tap into the lines out of the Bose amp.

You can use the hi level inputs on the amp for signal but I found in my 14 Silverado there was significant bass roll off when I turned up the volume. I Installed an audiocontrol lc2i to help offset this. The shop might try to sell you this but it is worth it in my opinion, unless you are going with a dsp.
