Are you sure you're properly charged? Have you checked to see if you're getting heat gain from the heater core?

I'm not doing the work myself but rather a licensed mechanic; I have to assume they are recharging the system to specification. They've discharged and recharged it several times now.

 

I'm not sure what you mean by heat gain from the heater core. Are you thinking the blend door is partially open? I can switch from heat to cool with expected results and when the RPM's are up it cools as expected. It's only at idle that it performs poorly.

I'd block off heater core lines and observe results. Also I'd specifically ask your mechanic is he charging by weight of refrigerant. Weight amount is listed under the hood Also is he refilling from a 30# cylinder on scale or 12 oz cans. Have you checked the evap for being plugged with debris reducing air flow?

 

You've got your e-fan issue solved? They run on high when commanded?
