Gmt800 brake pad recommendations

Looking for new pads/rotors on my 2002 suburban. I tow on occasion and its tuned so the speed limiter is removed. I don't want the nnbs upgrade or hydroboost upgrade just yet. I hear the powerstop slotted and drilled set is nice. Looking to spend undef 300$ on parts. I want something quiet and very little dust

I have the Power stop slotted and drilled on the rear right now. I think I went with the extreme duty ones. I really like them. I'll be putting them on the front soon.

 

I've got a '10 Esky ESV (LWB).

I just did the EBC stage 4 kit from Summitt on my 2000 Sierra. So far I really like it. It has slotted rotors and the green 7000 series pads. Don't let the Web site fool you, it shows the kit with the red pads, but they don't make me the red pads for trucks or SUVs. I also replaced the calipers with the power stop red powder coated reman units. Along with new flex hoses from the parts store, I have all new front brakes and have about $500 in them.

I had Brembo rotors and left the stock pads=slight improvement in braking.

 

Then I put on EBC yellow(most aggressive) pads with the Brembo rotors=better stopping but lots of dust and the pads and grinding away of the rotors.

 

This year I put on matching Powerstop rotors and pads=about the same as the Brembos and EBC yellow pads or maybe slightly better braking but no dust and no wearing down of rotor.

 

Should have put the Powerstops on in the first place.
