warning sound w/o idiot light

Hello all--

 

I'm a newbie (to the truck and the site) and had something happen that I can't figure out. I was pulling into the gas station the other day (w/ plenty of fuel) and I heard five tones (like when the key is in w/ door open) but no idiot light came on and everything looks and sounds normal. Any ideas? Should I worry about it? Thanks in advance.

Is it a newer body style? If you had your turn signal on, and didn't turn back the other way enough for the cam to kick it off, after a certain amount of time you will hear some tones as a reminder to turn it off. They dound like the ones with the key on and the door open.

Maybe you had your turn signal on. If you drove with your turn signal on for too long it will chime.

I didn't know the thing would chime after leaving the turn signal on for a long time...guess that means i don't do it!!

We're supposed to use turn signals
