eBay headlights

Looking at upgrading the headlight housings on my LT. Don't have the $$$ for retros, but I'd like to get some projectors for my LEDs. Anybody have any experience with these? They're pretty close to OEM style, which is what I'm looking for.

If I go this route, I plan on sealing the seams because I know eBay lights are notorious for condensation, but I'm just wondering how the fit and finish is on them.

most aftermarket headlights have a smaller projector than stock and alot of them use the h1 bulb for the low beam instead of the h11. something to check if you want to install other bulbs

Not a good idea to go cheap on lights, lots of imported junk at the low prices. Buy quality or buy nothing.

last time i bought ebay lights for my old ford, they sucked. if you live in the city they are fine but if you live in the boonies you cant see anything at night

Yeah, the size and quality of the projector is a concern too. Don't want to spend $$ and get less light. And I'd want to use the LED's that I have now.

Bought some aftermarket headlights for my 06 Avalanche to replace the worn out OEM ones. They looked and fit great but they didn't throw light well at all.

 

Ended up buying a set of OEM headlights and wow what a dramatic improvement.

 

You get what you pay for.
