Cold air intake help

Would you guys do just a intake tube because I already have a kn filter on the stock box? Or get a full kn cai kit? Are the spectre intakes garbage?

There isn't gonna be much of a difference between an intake and a drop in filter. I have a full k&n intake in my truck. But only because it was there when I bought it, and it's easier for me to leave it there than buy a factory set up. Plus I have a clean able filter. The factory airbox is sealed from the heat of the engine bay. The k&n intakes are not, just have a metal shield.

Get a Airaid MIT tube. leave your stock air box.
