So hi, I'm Tom. Please excuse my terrible grammar and bad spelling that is always aided and abetted by my beloved smartphone and debilitating ADD. I tend to ramble a lot too, sorry.

I am glad to have found a forum that seems to have a bit of traffic, as I think they are an excellent source of information(sometimes misinformation), and I will try to remember to swing through once in a while to keep everyone posted. Is there an app that works well with this forum? I have not had the best of luck with tapatalk in the past, but perhaps I will give it another go.

So a bit about me, I wear several caps, but am an electrician by trade, do some fabrication/machining for a hobby, which I kind of hope turns into more of a primary income source one day. I'm kind of a hot rodder, and I tend to be more interested in Performance than looks. Fair warning to the "by the book" guys, I am a fan of sloppy mechanics although I'm not quite as sloppy as allot of those guys.

I plan to start a build thread in a few minutes here although a lot has already happened. I'm not very secretive, and have no problem sharing my successes or failures.

My truck is an 09 Silverado with the 5.3 lmg, and it has had a decent amount done to it(not sure what you guys consider a decent amount, but we shall see. Another instance where fair warning might be due, I flog the crap out of all of my vehicles, don't change my oil frequently enough, and basically treat them like rentals. I know it's not the best practice, but living here in the rust belt, I never have anyy issue at all with my engines outliving my bodies. I do break stuff from time to time, but that's mostly an excuse to upgrade.

As worn out as the phrase "sleeper" has become, that's kind of what my truck is, what with the pappy cap and all, window flopping open all the time and whatnot.

Please forgive the mismatched wheels, I'm part way through an 11.5" 14 bolt swap, and putting the front diff/8lug setup in the front too (Will outline in my build thread)
