Swap USB hub for 2nd power inverter in center console ?

Has anyone taken out the usb panel on the drivers side of the center console? I would find it much more useful to have a second power inverter so I can charge my laptop and phone with a fast charger, not an electrical engineer, so I don't know if this is too much power pulling?

Thoughts?

If you are looking at charging a Mac Book Laptop (based on the plug in the pic), you should be ok. MBP charger specs are 29W, 65W, And up to 85W. I would imaging your quick charger is not going to draw much. The inverter shows to be capable of providing up to 150 watts. So you should be ok splicing another receptacle into the existing. I’m no electrical engineer either and just basing that off reading specs. There is some circuit overload logic in the inverse that protects the circuits when it sensing too much draw.

Splicing could be an option, does anyone have a schematic showing how the original is run or how much power is supplied to the 3 usb ports?
