Painted lower valance

Anyone painted the lower valance on the front of a 16 up?  Pictures?  I can’t find any
That's because that would be a bad idea. I have scraped it twice in the 6mos I have owned my truck and i am a very cautious driver. It sits so low that it is almost unavoidable. Removing it yes I can understand that.

But hey go for it and post pics.

Looks great. I agree should have came this way. Been thinking about doing it also guess I'll make a trip to the shop to see how much they'll charge when I finish my hitch on the boat.

That looks fantastic. I agree - that should be how the factory paints it.

Those painted ones look great. I’m not sure it’s something I would due just due to wear and tear on that part of the truck. I’d just like to get rid of that stupid chrome piece.

If you don’t mind me asking about how much did this run you? I got mine quoted at about 600+. Seemed a little steep.

Lots of man hours sanding to smooth out the textured plastic.

Line-X would be too thick, the tolerances are too tight IMO for it all to clip back together once done.

Smoothed sanded and painted they did it for me for $300..but to be fair I was having $1200 worth of stuff done at that shop so I'm sure that helped but yea $600 seems a bit high

Id definitely do it for 3 but not 6. Just ordered an extra piece to smooth, sand and primer myself. I’ll let them handle the paint. I’d give the paint a go myself but at 90 bucks a spray can I’m a little worried id order the wrong one.
