will not start, no spark, no fuel pressure, no gauges

I have an 02 silverado with a 4.8 auto 2wd.  Ive only had it a couple weeks, but ran good.  last weekend I put a turn signal switch in it, and while I was in there I removed a added on car alarm that did not have any controls.  after i changed the switch and removed the alarm, the truck will not run.

i have no spark, and no fuel pressure.  the gauges seemed to have stopped working as well.

there are not any error codes.  i was able to connect with the ECM with HP tuners; so I do not believe its the ECM and there is no security light on the dash either.

The car alarm was tied into the body control module for door locks, and for the ignition it was tied into the yellow wire that goes from the ignition to the fuse box.

i removed the tie ins for the door locks, and soldered together the yellow wire.

i pulled every fuse and they are all good.

is the body control module toast?

is there a way to check it?  this one has 3 connectors on it.

I tried looking online for a pinout for the bcm and i did not find anything at all which i thought was odd.

can i just put in another one, or do I need to have it towed to a dealer?

Make sure the connector under the steering column where the lock has to pull it down is all the way connected. It happens a lot that it's not all the way seated. I can give you all the schematics and pinouts but I am at my families house for thanksgiving and this computer will not let me open the site. Soon as I get home I will take care of it.

Ok. Now that all that is over lol. Do you have access to a scanner you can tell communication from?

Dealer found the problem - the passenger side fuse box had a short in it, 3 circuits were not getting power.

Good to go now.
