Hello, new here and new to GMC from a ram 1500. I like the truck, it's 2014 Sierra 1500 4x4 SLT. The engines are loud but other than that good. I want to level it out. Looking at 2.25 Readylift. How does this look with stock tires? I can't afford new rubber for awhile. My rims are the 20"

Welcome to the site. The direct injection fuel pumps are noisy. My 2013 Sierra with the Vortec 5.3 was quieter when the hood was open, but overall, this 2017 is quieter inside the cab.

Here is a photo of mine with 20" wheels and after a 2" Rough Contry level:

Truck looks good! Rough country 2" better than Readylift 2.25?

Well, bang for the buck, no in my opinion. You are getting .25" of additional lift for $120 more than I paid for my RC kit. The RC kit only uses lower spacers, and takes maybe 1.5 hrs to complete. You can get the RC level for under $60 on Ebay. The Readylift uses high end aluminum, whilw the RC kit uses a strong polymer. Which one holds up better in the worst conditions is up for debate.

Welcome!  When I purchased my '15 I wanted to level it out right away and buy tires later.   You can get the level kits very cheap on Amazon or eBay  Brand names don't mean a lot except you will pay different prices.  The most expensive part may be the install/alignment.  I strongly recommend you read some of the discussion on this topic.  I did and concluded that a 1.5" bottom spacer  was my best option.  I purchased spacers for about $30 and have yet to have them installed.  Now that I have a canopy and some weight in the back, the stock stance looks good, imo.  If and when I go to larger diameter wheels, I will have them installed.

Good to know, I'll research different ones...I like the idea of bottom only spacers because I should be able to do them myself. I'm looking for stock size tires 275/55/R20 in an all terrain tire but very expensive and my tires now still have good tread yet.
