Light Rings

Driving at night for he first time I notice that some knobs and other areas (light control knob for instance) have a ring of light around them. In my truck it's a greenish/turquoise color. Is that usual and is there a way to change the color?

Same color in my ‘17 Sierra. In 2017 gmc switch to the blueish/green color and dumped the red accent lighting that had been used in 2016. Not sure about Chevy. As far as I know there is no way to change it. I’ve played around in settings for a while and never found anything.

I look forward to hearing your responses.  I thought they were all blue now which upset some Sierra people.  I figured that by now this would be a driver adjustable feature.

surface mount leds i believe.  would have to take apart the switch

Odd that I just now noticed them. As though they weren't working before. Dimmer sensitive?

Just swap out the LEDs. GM did not go the user select the color route like others did.

Chevy’s have teal. Gmc is red up until 2017.

Teal! Much easier to type than greenish/turquoise color!
