Just bought the tuner mainly to disable the afm. I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3 with 115k. Truck runs strong but I wonder if this will make it better.  Even still just for the afm disable and the code reader its worth it to me. Reviews on all the Diablo sport tunes are great so I hope it is what everyone says.

I have the intune 1000 for my 2000 Sierra.  It worked OK, but it didn't make a huge difference.  The transmission tuning was probably the most effective part of what it can do.  The canned tune it comes with didn't make much difference for me.

i wanted to disable afm as well so I looked at the Range module but that's all it could do for 200 bucks. I found a used superchips for 270 so I have afm disable, tunes, diagnostic reader and a data logger so for me it was a no brainer. my truck has bigger tires than factory so it let me adjust for that as well
