iPhone X not working in wireless charger

I bought the new iPhone X and noticed it does not work on the wireless charging pad in my 2016 high country. It tried it with and without the case on it. Is anyone tried this in their trucks hat have the iPhone X? Thanks

I believe with or without the case. The X is to wide to fit down where it needs to be. You just about have to have the phone sitting on the rubber pad to get it to work. I have an 8 and it does not work either.

There is a thread where someone replaced the charging module with the new one (2018) and it worked. Have to also change the connector
