Battery charger

Hello

I want to know what´s the best battery charger? the noco g-3500, duracell jump starter drljs20, schumaker sp1, and carquest cq1000cr are good?

My Schumacker $80 dollar charger died a few days ago. About 10 tears old.

Fully automatic, microprocessor  controlled, regular battery's, deep cycle and AGM.

2, 10 and 15 amps.

Not used enough to warrant it dying IMO.

I have two Schumacher changers, one is probably 30 years old, the other probably close to 20...both are solid state 2a/10a chargers.

Company bought a new one this past spring, way to complicated for a battery charger...

I never game mine a second thought. Its just a AC/DC rectifier with alligator clips.

I have basically that same Die-Hard one as diyer2 linked. worked for me about 7 years now.

 

I recommend to one with the 50a jump start mode. That has come in handy for me a couple times.

I'd have to agree with aseibel, get one with the 50 amp jump start. I have a Schumacher 10/30/50 amp that's served me well for over 15 years, came in handy when I had a dead lawn and tractor battery on a JD lawn tractor. As far as a dead vehicle battery, the jump start will get you going, but I don't think I would drive that vehicle any further than the nearest auto parts store where you can pick up a new battery.
