Speedo guage question

My buddy bought a 2017 Silverado and on the MPH screen in the DIC it shows a little speed limit sign.   I thought that was useful.

 

My 2018 Sierra doesn’t have that.   Discontinued?   Chevy option only?

Check your settings for that screen. I would bet that there is an option.

I did.   Not apparent.

It must be dependent on the nav system. otherwise your truck wouldn't know what road it's on and what the speed limit is.

There’s an option in the dic menus to turn the speed limit sign on or off. At least that’s the case in my 2017 Sierra.

MY 2016 GMC has it... but you have to check it in the options of the DIC.. it wasn't checked.. .. then scroll through the menu to see it.. .. allot under there not checked...
