Ok, I could use a little more information.

One - Are there any lights on the dash ( Service four wheel drive, Service engine soon. Ect?)

Two - Are you putting the truck in neutral when you select 4lo?

Three - Do you hear the transfer case  making a noise like it is trying to lock in 4lo?

No other lights come on unless I make them like the tow light and other lights come on when starting it just as always but not check engine or anything to worry about. Yes I’m putting it in neutral to shift to 4 lo and I can hear the clicking in the transfer case when I shift to 4 lo, also I was told if you let the truck just roll and put in 4 lo and hear the shift motor making noise then it could be the shift motor. I’m having electrical issues with an oil pressure gauge and I’m hoping that’s not causing some sort of electrical issue.

The oil pressure gauge isn't going to cause the vehicle to not shift into 4 wheel drive. But that is an easy repair as well. A lot of shops will want to charge you the full 2 hours, intake gaskets and ect when the job can be done without removing the intake. But that's a different discussion.

Is this a 2007 Classic or 2007 New body style?

Can you take a picture of the 4wheel drive switch when it's in 4lo and the shifter is in neutral and post it on here for me please.

Unless you have a floor shifter for the transfer case,(only available in the W/T package)  there is no light on the dash that comes on, just the silly little pencil tip light on the knob.

Trying to see what kind of truck it is and if the light is trying to show up at all.

Ok I need you to get the system scanned. I am thinking you're going to have a Encoder circuit fault. Sometimes it will not set the Service four wheel drive light. It will just not allow it to engage. Do you have access to someone who can do that for you? I can walk you through the fix if there is a code for it.

If not go to your local parts store and see if their scanner will tell you the code. I am not sure if it will.

If you have time, want to wait and you have seen any of my previous posts. I really recommend a bluetooth/wifi scanner. They are inexpensive and with the free app Auto doctor you can get all the codes out of the vehicle. If you pay for the pro version which is like $15 I believe you can clear codes and see multiple other diagnostic information.

The scanner I would recommend is http://amzn.to/2BzBRI8 .

I have one in all of my vehicles and even my wife and daughter can use it just in case something happens while they are on the road they can call me and tell me what's going on with the vehicle.
