2017 Silverado question?

I am the owner of a new 2017 Silvarado, double cab, LT, 4x4, Z-71, All Star Edition,  and I have a question.  My truck has two glovebox’s in front of the passenger and a console storage area between the seats.  NONE of them have lights in them.  I talked to the Service Manager at a Chevy Dealer and he said there is NONE available!  I find it hard to believe that even a Denali doesn’t have a lighted glovebox!  Anybody know any different?

No lights sorry.  GM hasn't had glovebox lights for a long time in the pickups, no matter the trim.

SLT and LTZ and higher trims have lights in the console with the bucket seat option. My 2009 SLE didn't have a light in it either.

There havent been glovebox or underhood lights for years.  Cost cutting measures.  Luckily lights are easy to add

Is there a light kit I can buy to install light?

I have found  battery operated stick-on LED lights useful in dark storage areas.  I don't miss the old glove box light but usually keep a flashlight handy in the truck.
