Hello fellow GM lovers. I have always owned GM trucks and won't have anything else. Last April 2017 i bought a Used 2014 GMC 1500 SLE 4X4, and i am absolutely impressed with this truck. I traded my 2002 Chevy with 266513 on the odometer. That was the best truck and hated to part with it but these Wisconsin Winters were hard on her. I look forward to many years of service from my Jimmy.

Welcome from 1500+ miles away?  Anyway it's a GDI so my suggestion is to be cognizant of that fact and understand that going 100K like port injection before you decide to do any up keep to it will surely cause problems......KEEP THE INJECTORS CLEAN!  KEEP THE UPPER VALVE TRAIN CLEAN!  Don't kid yourself they are dynamite engines probably the toughest GM ever made no joke!  USE BG Products and you should not have problems.  Changing your Oil at say 5K which is even better than GM recommends is not going to save you......USE BG IT"S GDI.....COKE THE TOP OF YOUR PISTONS.......MESS UP THE SPRAY that tumbles off it.....the process only intensifies the COKING of injectors in the chamber and so forth....the slow rough idle final becomes problematic etc....ALL of this will continue even with your EXCELLENT 5K above and beyond oil changes....DO what you will

Welcome from 2100 miles away!  You will get many years of good service from your '14 SLE. My truck is similar to your's and after two and a half years of ownership, I still look forward to taking it out for a drive!
