DIY : Cold Air Intake

Fortunately the new trucks come with a cold air intake. I still wonder why people are buying them for these new trucks when a few simple modifications can get you more free air flow. I did a DIY on it. I hope this helps someone. Thanks for looking.

That piece you cut out is already opened up on a 6.2. I think all else is the same except for that. Some have just taken the piece you modified and just left it off. I tried it for a while but added some foam to to seal the box to the fender. Then I just went with the intake piece that I opened all the up, made one large hole instead of one big and one small. What I'd like to see is someone trim the inner fender piece that dictates the shape of the opening. Good video
