Heated Seats

I have a 2016 Silverado 2500HD LT crew cab,  I am wanting to add heated seats to my truck, I know that you can't go through the main computer but was wondering if I can still use the factory switches by the stereo with after market elements.  I'm going to change the seats to leather at that time too.  I would appreciate any help.

Thanks, Eric

I added leather seats and heat at the time of purchase as part of the deal and my switches are mounted just below each seat. A small rocker style with 2 setting . worked fine for me but you have factory heat switch on the dash but no heated seats correct?

If the truck was not equipped from the factory? Then you will have to get the OEM switches along with the oem dash surround. Then whoever is installing your heaters/leather upgrade?? You would have to convince them to run wires from the factory location to wherever they would normally connect etc.

I had the leather and heat put into my truck buy the dealer. Truck not oe equipped and just have the little button down under your knee area.

Not sure if the OE and Aftermarket would work together or if the aftermarket heater company would allow for there warranty using the stock truck switches?

However anything can be done for the right $$
