Bumpershellz, Expires 3/8/2018!!!

I don’t see how it’s lucrative for them. I’ve never seen a truck with them on. I’ve traveled all over the country to dealers to service vehicles and have never even heard a whisper of someone talking about one. They seem like they’d be an easy alternative to replacing a bumper and saving on painting costs too. But I’d almost have to have one to try before I spend the money on one. I feel like it wouldn’t hold up.

In my opinion it’s an easier way to color match the bronze alloy. People keep saying to wrap the bumper or powder coat but I can’t find a wrap or powder color that matches dead on.

And most body shops around here refuse to warranty any chrome cover up work so the Bumpershellz is the way to go for my application.

Toss up if you have a black or white truck but all the other colors it’s hard to beat the shell approach.

Everyone has their own approach which is a-ok by me! Keeps the truck world unique.

I'm sure it has been stated but what is the pre-discount price?  I wouldn't hesitate to put one on my truck but my "customizing budget"  is heavily guarded!

Something like $500 for fronts and rears i think depending on what pattern/color combo you get.

So that 20% off is super helpful if we can get there...

Thanks for the pricing info.  20% savings would make a significant impact.

What you just described is exactly what happened for me.  An unhappy forum member didn't like his rear bumper covers (painted in white).

He shipped them to me, free of cost.  I have installed them and they work great. Can't even tell they're on.  Doesn't show any chrome.

I actually just have the white bumper cover on my rear while my truck is blue.  Been sitting on there for a week and I haven't even removed the 3m tape (it's just held on by squeezing it under the plastic).

I will be painting mine it looks like, since Line-X says that they can't encapsulate the whole bumpershellz...so it won't work.
