Dealer oil changes are a marketing ploy. You hang out in the showrooms, wander the lots and look at the new trucks/autos all the while the service dept. looks for something they can up-sell to the customer. GM dealers call it a multi-point inspection.
They have a vested interest in having you come back again and again and again. Think about it, how many want you to keep driving your vehicle? You are the only one; the dealers want to sell you a new truck and every time you are there, they get another chance.
i would say it is someone who bought a deisel and shouldn't have, they arenot meant to put around town or excessive idling. the brake thing is a gm problem, some do worse and some do bettter. i put 140k on my 2014 and was expecting the same on the 2020 but only got half of that mileage. a2020 with40k is not that many miles, my 2020 has 120k
Gas dropped a whopping $0.03 to $5.46 for regular this morning.
I wonder why the deal isn't a deal. It's a concept of a deal to occur sometime over the next 60 days. So far Iran says the Strait will not be "free", and still no nuclear concessions have been agreed to. So basically we begged them to relent in exchange for cash, with a likelihood we'll give away the farm in said "deal".
Market Manipulation Monday?
Taco Tuesday is always the next day.
ouch. that is SUCH a ripoff, as the blank key w chip retails for under $20...
It would be somewhat reasonable if you don't have any key for the truck, so they need to program the new key as the master key for the truck, but somehow I think they would charge extra for this...
