Pictures of lower door / rocker panel accent trims

Looking to see if anyone has installed any of the putco or other brands lower door / rocker trims . Putco has a nice Platinum black kit and also a GM branded chrome / SS trim kit as well. My truck is white and wondering if anyone has installed anything of the sort. Thank you

I purchased a set from real truck and got one side on. They looked like s$*t in my opinion. The gaps we horrible and ended up taking them off. They were the $100 ones. They seemed like they were decide to quality though. I thought I had a picture but I must have deleted it.

I looked at those as well, I ordered the putco platinum black and the putco GM branded ones from Amazon, I'm got to scotch tape them on to see how it looks , if I don't like it I'll send them back.

Nobody has any pictures? I figured surely there would be something. I got both sets in. They are both nice. Hard to tell what they will look like as they have a protective white film over the finish. The gm branded polished SS looks nice. But like i said it's very hard to tell what they will look like with out taking the film off and taping them on for a visual. I'm affraid to take the film off as Amazon might not accept as return. One thing I'm thinking about doing is only putting the trim on the doors and not the bed or the back of the ft fenders. As they are only short peics anyway due to the contours of the body line.

The pictures of the black were taken in lower light levels, they are black but not a deep black. Guess is that hard to explain without seeing them in person. I can't decide what looks better. I like both, however I feel the chrome is to much and possibly the black may get old after a while. Decisions decisions.

I too ordered a set of the black ones and like was mentioned they looked like Sh*t so I sent them back as well. I'm just going to have them shot with Rhino liner all around. Should look pretty good!

Although, I would like to see some pics too!

I had my lower portion sprayed in bed liner to protect against rock chips..... I can try and get some photos. If anyone is interested I still have the panels and for a small price they can have they would just need some new adhesive for the drivers side.

What brand did you use? I'm leaning towards just doing my lower doors and that it , just like I have pictured.
