I'm just curious is the 4.8 throttle body and the 6.0 throttle body the same? Don't know much about them and would i because to switch my 4.8 throttle body for the 6.0? And anything else that might be needed/better to put on with it it already has a CAI attached to it

Personally if it were me I would add a spacer since you added the CAI. But it is just personal preference.

Here is what I would grab. https://amzn.to/2v3nDR1

Save your money. No need for a TB spacer on this application. No gains. Again look into a custom tune to get more out of your ride

Ok I am going to need you to explain that to me. I am not above being wrong for sure and maybe I can learn something here. But why is there no gain? I have always installed them on my vehicles because I always heard that was what I was SUPPOSED to do lol. Like I said I could absolutely be wrong and it would definitely save me money if I was with all the engines I have built for all the vehicles I play with. You're increasing the airflow through the CAI why would you restrict it at the throttle body? You're adding more space to the manifold for more cold air. I understand it is a 4.8 but he asked if there was anything he may need to make it BETTER. If he is putting a CAI on a 4.8 why not a spacer? I put a supercharger on a V6 camaro with an under drive kit once. HAHA! Back when I couldn't afford a real engine. lol
