2015 Denali Grill on 2016-18 Sierra SLE

Hey all!

First post here! Tried searching this but unfortunately didn't get the answer I was looking for..

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 CC. I work at a body shop. So lucky for me lots of parts from a variety of vehicles that get thrown out.. even if nothing is wrong with them. It was my lucky day when we had a 2015 GMC Denali 1500 come through and needed a front end refinished. Work just threw the old grill out (nothing wrong with it at all). I grabbed the grill out of the dumpster and left it by my locker at work. Would a 15 Denali grill fit on a 2017 Sierra SLE?

I'm not sure on fitment but is there any 16+ Silverado parts in that dumpster? If so I call dibs haha

14/15 Silverado grill more rectangle is different from the 16-18 grill has the curve at bottom edge that goes up a little. Not sure on the gmc.

I've been wondering this as well, I can't see any visual difference except the 16+ has the "scoop" out of the top. May be mounted different but I don't know why that would be the case.

I'd say give it a shot, worst case you can report back to help the next guy.
