Sport bar

I like the look of the GM sport bar with red “Silverado” lettering on it but read about trouble with the lights and harness. Anyone know how to get the sport bar without the lights for a decent price?

you can find the bar all the time on craigslist. Around $500 or so.  The hard and expensive part is getting the oem lights for it, as those are around a grand separately.

If you want the oem gm off road Led light on the bar when you purchase the lights it comes with the harness and even the new headlights switch, cost around 800 new for the light.,
You can always do aftermarket but the quality on the gm ones is bad ass., I had them.

Also the lights doesn’t come with the bar., if you buy it from gm the sport bar is about 1200 and the led light about 800.. obviously you want to buy them used or CL or OfferUp, you’ll find them cheaper on this apps.

Nop. My is a 15 and worked except that I have the one with foglights and my truck didn’t come with foglights from factory so I hardwired to an aux toggle switch on my overhead console.

I meant the switch. I thought I read somewhere that the switch wouldn’t work for the 14-15’s and only the 16+ to add the overhead lights. Something about BCM programming I think. 

 

I think I might have read that wrong. The lights worked from the switch but you just wired fogs to a different switch?
